Online - Citizens Advice website provide practical, reliable advice online. The information covers the law in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

By phone - Advice by phone is available from local Citizens Advice. In addition, there is a national phone service under development

National phone service - Adviceline, the national phone service, is fully operational in Wales for people who live or work there. In England the service is currently being rolled out. If it is not yet available in your area, you will hear options for recorded information: for England call 03444 111 444 or check contact details via our local Citizens Advice search option. By web chat - If you can’t find what you are looking for on the website, you can chat online with one of the advisers.

Need advice on a consumer issue? - You can find  consumer advice online, and a Citizens Advice consumer service. The consumer service provides advice on issues around buying goods or services. This includes being treated unfairly by a trader, receiving a poor service or you may want to switch energy suppliers or cancel a contract.
