Ante & Post Natal Exercise Teaching

Learn how to exercise in a safe and effective way before and after your pregnancy.  Posture, Core Stability, Pelvic Floor Muscle Tone and Static Abdominal exercises will be taught as well as suitable aerobic exercise and conditioning for post-pregnancy.  Stott Pilates principles will also be taught.  Stott Pilates will work with clients to assess their posture and put together a programme suitable to correct and strengthen any postural and muscular problems identified.

This service is now available for small groups and one to one sessions.

The sessions are suitable for any one who has had their 6 week post natal check or 9 weeks if caesaerian and is passed by their health care professional as fit to exercise.

Ante Natal clients can register but their attendance is subject to a health check and clearance by their relevant health care professional.

If you have any problems about fitness please contact the instructor who will be pleased to advise.

Mum's wishing to return to exercise can also request a session with the instructor.

Notes

The instructor is qualified to train antenatal women. Women who have had children and not been able to exercise for some time are also welcome. Core Stott Pilates training will also be incorporated in to the sessions. The instructor is also qualified to teach breast cancer rehab patients as well as older adults.
