Juvenile Arthritis - kids get arthritis too!

The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) was founded in 2001 and is the only UK charity specifically devoted to supporting adults and their families living with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and children, young people and their families affected by juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) and the health professionals treating RA and JIA.

How can JIA-at-NRAS help? If you are a parent/carer of a child or young person (under 16) who has been diagnosed and you have more questions than answers, then please get in touch through the website, email or telephone. Our service is free and confidential.

For updates on family fun days, new materials and creative events for children and young people across the UK and Wales see the website or drop us an email.

We have a number of information booklets including guidance for schools and parents of students with JIA - these can be downloaded or sent in the post.
